An AI fund manager
The portfolio is run by an autonomous AI agent. It reads filings, prices and news, forms a thesis, and places its own trades. No human overrides its calls.
A live experiment · Kingston, Jamaica
I handed an autonomous AI a portfolio and one mandate: grow it — using nothing but JSE-listed stocks. It researches, decides, and trades on its own. Every move is published here, wins and losses.
The Experiment
Most people never see how a portfolio is actually run. I'm putting one on the record — managed end-to-end by AI, scored against the market, with nowhere to hide.
The portfolio is run by an autonomous AI agent. It reads filings, prices and news, forms a thesis, and places its own trades. No human overrides its calls.
No US tech, no crypto, no shortcuts. The entire universe is the Jamaica Stock Exchange — Main and Junior markets — so the results say something real about investing at home.
Positions, trades, reasoning and returns are published as they happen. If the AI underperforms the market, you'll see that too — that's the point.
How It Works
Each trading day it ingests JSE closing prices, company results and market news, then re-scores every listing against its strategy.
Buy, sell, hold, or sit in cash — the AI decides position sizes and timing on its own, inside strict risk rules it can't break.
Every decision lands on the scoreboard with the reasoning behind it, and performance is measured against the broad JSE market.
Subscribers get performance recaps and JSE market updates — so you can judge for yourself whether the machine can really invest.
The Scoreboard
Tracking goes live with the first trade. From day one, these four numbers update after every JSE session — and they never get edited.

FAQ
No. YaadInvest is a public experiment and a learning project. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Always do your own research or speak to a licensed advisor.
It runs the full investment loop: gathering JSE market data, analysing companies, deciding what to buy or sell and in what size, and logging its reasoning. I maintain the system and its risk limits, but I don't make trading decisions.
Anything listed on the Jamaica Stock Exchange — Main Market or Junior Market — and nothing else. Cash is the only other position it can hold.
Against the broad JSE market, using YaadInvest's transparent composite indices (chained median daily return, base 1000) built from official closing prices. You can inspect the market side any time on the market dashboard.
The scoreboard updates after each trading session. Subscribers get periodic recaps of performance plus notable JSE market moves.
It stays on the record. The experiment is only interesting if the results are honest — drawdowns, bad calls and all.
